For those reading this who aren't aware of waterproof walking socks, such as the ones we produce here at ArcticDry; here's a brief overview: Waterproof Socks are typically triple layered socks consisting of an impermeable waterproof membrane, which allows the user to carry on pursuing their sport of choice without fear of getting soaking wet socks. They are porous enough to allow water vapour to escape, but not porous enough to allow water in, keeping your feet nice and dry, away from the elements.
When you think of this product, you automatically think, wait a minute...if they are Waterproof, then how exactly am I able to wash them, and keep them clean for my next hike, cycle or golfing session. The answer is actually incredibly simple.

Step 1: Fill a bowl with lukewarm soapy water. It's important not to use hot water as this may damage the integrity of the waterproof membrane; make sure not to machine wash the socks on too high a heat.
Step 2: Turn your Waterproof Socks inside out, and wash them in the lukewarm soapy water. If you don't have soap at hand, you could use washing up liquid or a body-wash, none of these products will damage the product or effect the nature of the waterproof membrane.
Step 3: Turn them inside out again and clean the outside layer. Wait for them to dry then use them again! :) Simples!
