FAQ
How do waterproof socks work?
Quite simply, waterproof socks work by utilising an impermeable waterproof membrane in the central layer, preventing water from entering and giving you wet feet.
They keep your feet nice and dry by stopping water coming in, allowing you to carry on your hiking, camping or running/cycling journey without the added stress of soggy feet!
How do you Wash Waterproof Socks?
Please see our guide here: How do you wash waterproof socks.

Are These Ladies Waterproof Socks?
Currently, we create our waterproof socks for men & women. Ladies waterproof socks are no different to mens, however, we are currently working to create some more unique designs for women apart from our classic black and ice blue ArcticDry colours.
Are they Breathable?
Absolutely.
Waterproof Breathable Socks are what we have become known for in the Outdoors Industry, by creating a product that stops water from entering but allows water vapour to escape, you get the best of both worlds: Waterproof Protection and a Breathable Waterproof Sock at the same time
Are waterproof socks good for Hiking?
Waterproof socks are good for hiking, cycling, walking, trekking tough terrains, running and much more.
This is due to the fact they are a very versatile product, having the ability to withstand water means they have a wide application to many different types of sports, including kayaking and other boating activities.
Are waterproof socks Warm?
Well, we can’t speak for other products in general, but our ArcticDry Socks have a great blend of materials meaning they are both breathable, warm and even a little flexible, not restricting your movement or giving you overly-sweaty feet like some brands of hiking socks.

There’s a lot of comments here with not too much substance, so i’ll try my best to give a realistic review here on Arcticdry Waterproof Socks. I’m going to break it down into a simple pros and cons list:
PROS:
– 100% Waterproof. I have taken these up mountains, round the Lake District and Snowdon, as well as using them for road cycling and general poor British weather, they have always done what they say they do. Truely Waterproof Socks
– Warmth – They are very warm!
– Thickness – For me personally they are perfect thickness, not too thick like some hiking socks which just make your feet feel cloistered, but of course they are made from 3 layers, so thick enough to keep you warm in the winter, but kind of give you a bit of breathing space also.
CONS:
– They should do a few more designs for women, so my wife can feel more motivated to come hiking with me haha.
– Would be nice if they came in a little bag so you can store them away.
OVERALL CONCLUSION:
I am very happy with my ArcticDry Waterproof Socks, they are not just water resistant, but waterproof, and this makes them rank leaps and bounds above other brands in my opinion who have let me down. I will only use ArcticDry Waterproof socks from now on.
